When you create a new page or post, you often begin with giving it a title. Once you’ve done that, you’ll see the permalink show up just under it in the dashboard like this:
That’s the direct link to the page or post you are creating. If you’d like to customize that link, you can click on the edit button to the right of that and change it to whatever you’d like it to be. Like this:
Just be sure to update the post when you’re done so it publishes your change.
